Gov. Blagojevich Signs Illinois Filmmakers Tax Incentive Bill Into Law

Governor Rod Blagojevich met with Beverly Ridge Pictures this morning at the Italian Village restaurant in downtown Chicago. Also in attendance were Chicago Overcoat stars Frank Vincent, Danny Goldring, Illinois film industry leaders, and Harold Ramis. The governor signed the 2008 tax credit bill into law at the restaurant, which was an important location for the film.

On Tuesday May 27, Gov. Rod Blagojevich signed the new Illinois Filmmakers Tax Incentive bill into law with the six-member Beverly Ridge Pictures team behind the film Chicago Overcoat. The ceremony took place at the Italian Village, one of the many locations used in the film.
