Gov. Blagojevich Signs Illinois Filmmakers Tax Incentive Bill Into Law

Governor Rod Blagojevich met with Beverly Ridge Pictures this morning at the Italian Village restaurant in downtown Chicago. Also in attendance were Chicago Overcoat stars Frank Vincent, Danny Goldring, Illinois film industry leaders, and Harold Ramis. The governor signed the 2008 tax credit bill into law at the restaurant, which was an important location for the film.

Frank Vincent was on WLS 890 AM's The Roe Conn Show this afternoon.  During the 30 minute interview, Roe and Frank talked about his work on HBO's "The Sopranos" and Beverly Ridge Pictures' feature film, Chicago Overcoat.  They also discussed why Frank was in town: to participate in Gov. Blagojevich's signing of the new Illinois Filmmakers Tax Incentive bill.
